'I think it will start again on 1 January, ' said Wenger.

Arsène Wenger says he has received "enquiries from all over the world" as he plans a return to football in January. I am rested, and I am ready to work again'.

"From my 22 years at Arsenal, I have big experience on different levels".

The former Gunners boss has been linked to the Japan head coach job, and more recently to a boardroom position at French giants PSG, but Wenger explained he does not know what role he will take up.

'There are associations, national teams; it could be also [in] Japan.

"First of all, Jose Mourinho is 1/7 on to be the next manager to be sacked", Stelling said on Soccer Saturday earlier this month. "But where? I don't know yet".

"But I've got an idea and I know that this is going to be flawless and Manchester United fans will love me".

What United want is Champions League qualification, year in year out. Someone who can get the best out of Alexis Sanchez, who's not in a job at the moment.

Arsenal have enjoyed a strong start to the season in the wake of Wenger's departure and now sit fourth, just two points behind Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, who are separated by goal difference.

"That seriously is not the worst idea", Merson said. He doesn't have to go out and buy £80m and £70m players. "What price is he?"

Wenger was also quizzed about German football and his former player Mesut Ozil.

"I believe that Germany needs Ozil". 'I hope that Low can convince him that he will come back.

"I did not love it that he withdrew from the Germany team [because] the Germans respect what he achieved. He loses a bit if he does not play at an worldwide level".
