"I enjoy watching English and Australian batsmen more than these Indians", Kohli read out the message.

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has courted controversy after he told a fan to not live in India if he doesn't like Indian batsmen.

While reacting to comments in the video, he came across a cricket fan's note which said, "He is an overrated batsman".

Replying to the message, Kohli asked the cricket fan to go live somewhere else if he liked batsmen from elsewhere.

In a video that has gone viral for all the wrong reasons and available on his newly released app, Kohli was reading tweets and Instagram messages before coming across an user, who said the Indian mainstay has nothing special in his batting. Why are you living in our country and loving other countries?

In the meantime, Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian cricketer and current president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), is confident that India will be able to roll their opponents over without much fuss. I don't think you should live in our country and like other's thing.

A batsman par excellence with a plethora of records to his name, Kohli spent his birthday with wife Anushka Sharma in Haridwar. "Get your priorities right". He is the No 1 batsman in ODI and T20I cricket apart from recently becoming the fastest to 10,000 ODI runs and becoming the first Indian to slam three consecutive tons in ODI cricket.
