Ariana Grande's Full Performance of 'Thank U, Next' Is Here

Ariana Grande's debut performance of "thank u, next", her breakup anthem that succeeds at being both petty and empowering, was a pretty fine reflection of her life of late. She dressed in a sort of pop-star permutation of a wedding dress, and she and her two backup singers did a heavily choreographed routine that, from what I understand, was based on the 1996 movie The First Wives Club, even though Grande has never been anyone's wife.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, the singer, 25, told her fans: "remember when i was like hey i have no tears left to cry and the universe was like HAAAAAAAAA b***h u thought" (sic).

The singer has been in and out of high-profile relationships over the past few years - most recently a very public, very brief engagement to SNL comedian Pete Davidson - and openly references her love troubles in the song, referencing several of her famous exes by name.

At one point, Grande stood up on a chair, bopping to her song in white heeled boots, but when she stepped down, she stumbled and fell, exclaiming, "Oh my god!" "For instance, in one message, she wrote, "'m so. f-kin. grateful". She finished the performance with a smile, and danced down the aisles of the set while the audience cheered. "Holding hands with my mama", she sang, through tears. "We love you, we support you". Is Grande innocently celebrating her friendships?

"We were supposed to come down?"

'I know some of you are curious about the break up but the truth is it's nobody's business and sometimes things just don't work out and that's okay, ' he said.
