Assassins Creed Odyssey getting an increased level cap

The feature arrives in the game later this month, and then you'll never have to choose between that lovely looking helmet and something that actually raises your power.

In the first questline, "The Show Must Go On", the player takes on the role of Leonidas in a play about the Battle of Thermopylae and in the second questline, "Divine Intervention", they'll meet a mysterious woman who will challenge their mettle with divine trials.

The Lost Tales of Greece quests will automatically appear in the world, marked as secondary quests, once episode 5 is reached. Defeating them garners you rare currency. In a new video, which we've embedded above, the developer clues us in on what's coming to the game throughout November.

Elsewhere, Ubisoft confirmed that Steropes the Cyclops will be introduced on November 13, and players can also tuck into a new entry in the Lost Tales from Greece series as well as a new Epic Ship confrontation.

The highlight, at least if you're a fashion-conscious mercenary, is undoubtedly the visual layer that can be applied to gear, letting Kassandra and Alexios strut around in their fanciest clobber, regardless of what the stats are. 20 new levels will be unlocked later this month, for a total of 70.

The cost of gear will also go down in the coming weeks so certain items are not impossible to buy.

Currently, the level cap is set at Level 50, and Ubisoft has found that players are hitting that without even exploring half of the game. Hopefully this trend will continue in the future. You can learn more about accessibility in Assassin's Creed in our latest interview with Jonathan Bedard here!
