Almost two years after its release, the Nintendo Switch finally gained access to YouTube on Thursday. Nintendo added a Hulu app a year ago, but fans have been griping for months about the lack of services like YouTube and Netflix. Weighing in at 89.0MB, the app should fit on your SD card, and doesn't require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

The app allows you to watch anything in YouTube's catalog in both docked and handheld modes.

Rumors of YouTube's impending release began springing up earlier this week when Switch owners reported that they were receiving suggestions for the app appear on the eShop.

Brought to life through delicate art, detailed animation and an elegant original score, ethereal indie gameGRIS comes to the Nintendo Switch system on December 13. That includes tons of original content from users, along with livestreams, how-to guides, music, and more. So grab your friends, family, and your Nintendo Switch controller, and enjoy YouTube together. Explore a world of videos with recommendations and easy access to your channel subscriptions.
