Avengers 4's run time now at the 3 hour mark

If the duration stays the same, Avengers 4 would become Marvel's longest movie to date. I mean, the highest of any of the films to date.

So we'll see if that holds, but it's sitting right at three hours right now.

Truth be told, we'd happily spend three hours just watching Thor screaming "More power, Rabbit!" at Rocket while Drax is pretending to be invisible in the corner. And we know that, by the end of the film, the MCU will probably never be the same again.

However, Russo added that they still have a long way to go on finishing up the movie.

Talking about the post-production of the film he revealed, "We're about halfway through the editing process".

"There are more than 3,000 VFX shots in the movie-those require a lot of time and thought and energy and effort, and we're very early in the phase of getting VFX done, " he said. Black Widow has been a member of the Avengers since the beginning, but we think it's well past time she got her own movie, even if it's a prequel. "We've just started work with Alan Silvestri (the movie's composer) on the score, and we're still editing picture at this point".

We are counting down the days to the release of Avengers 4 - which, by the way, is handily done for us by the good folks at Marvel and their new clock. You'd think we would have a trailer by now, but it seems like that might only happen early next year.
