The Boston Celtics have one of the richest histories of any professional sports team. They will also wear them on December 7 against the Sacramento Kings.

Unveiled Friday, the new white jerseys feature green-and-yellow detailing on the Boston wordmark, number, and trim, à la the team's warm-up jackets worn by the likes of legend Larry Bird.

From the banners to the Hall of Famers to the parquet floor, every corner of Celtic lore is full of tradition. Other notable elements include the signature of the late Red Auerbach, which runs along the seamline of the jersey, and another shamrock with the word, "Celtics", positioned on the belt buckle.

The Cavaliers will debut their new "City Edition" jerseys on November 13 when they take on the Charlotte Hornets.

Some assemblage of players, at least those who are not injured, will wear these garish getups for six games this year, all of which they will nearly assuredly lose. The jerseys are available for purchase starting today.
