Releasing a statement in this regard, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said, "The Indian team management has chose to rest Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav from the upcoming third Paytm T20I against the Windies in Chennai".

Kaul, who made his T20I debut against Ireland in Dublin in June, has so far featured in two matches.

India have already gained an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series having won the opening two T20Is quite convincingly.

Indian bowlers Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav were on November 9 rested from the third and final T20 worldwide against the West Indies to keep them in "best physical condition" for the tour of Australia, the BCCI said.

The Indian cricket team management on Friday announced that seamers Umesh Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah, and chinaman Kuldeep Yadav, have been rested from the 3rd T20I against West Indies, set to take place on Sunday, in Chennai.

In a press release, the BCCI informed that the decision has been taken to allow the bowling trio to be rested and get ready for India's tour to Australia which is slated to commence from November 21.

The All-India Senior Selection Committee, meanwhile, has added Siddarth Kaul to the squad.

India will travel to Australia later this month for series comprising of 3 ODIs, 4 Tests, 3 T20s. Pacer Umesh was left out of the playing XI in the second match. He knocked his 4th T20I century to become the only person to do that. The clash is expected to be a cracking contest, as the Chennai track offers a lot for batsmen.
