The National Parks Service also confirmed that some of the structures at Paramount Ranch were burned.

Paramount Ranch, an iconic set used in TV shows and films from Westworld to The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, has burned in the devastating Woolsey Fire in western Los Angeles County.

It remains to be seen whether the sets will be rebuilt for future production or if the next season of Westworld will feature the town of Escalante.

The main set for Westworld is at Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita, which has not been impacted by the fire.

Thankfully, HBO confirms that no filming for the upcoming season of Westworld was taking place at the time of the fire.

The HBO series is also shot at the Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita, Utah and other locations.

"This is eerie. So sad for the history lost. Amazed the church is still standing". Westworld is not now in production, and as the area has been evacuated, we do not yet know the extent of the damage to any structures remaining there.

Evacuation in Malibu, Calabasas and Agoura areas began on Thursday, as a 200-acre wildfire started to rapidly spread.

The site just south of the 101 Freeway in Agoura has been the location for famous film and TV shoots since Paramount Pictures leased the ranch in 1927. Most importantly, our thoughts go out to all of those affected by these disgusting fires'.

Many stars have been forced to evacuate as a result of the wildfire, including the Kardashian family, Alyssa Milano, Melissa Etheridge, Rainn Wilson and Guillermo del Toro.
