As Kotaku editors we write about stuff we like and think you'll like too.

Here's what we know about Fallout 76's release date and pre-load.

Looks like Reclamation Day started a little early!

With Fallout 76's servers now live, Bethesda is already looking ahead to what's next for the game post-launch, with a number of features on the cards, including new quests, events, Vaults and the ability to re-spec your character if you so desire.

A huge thanks to everyone at Bethesda and ZeniMax who supported us in making this game.

Fallout 76 is not releasing on Steam, at least for now, so like the beta it'll only be playable via Bethesda's own launcher.

The game will be available from midnight on November 14 in all regions, so you can get stuck in straight away. Rather, it is the result of some fans missing a step in redeeming their retail codes; "If you are having trouble accessing the pre-download button for Fallout 76", explains Bethesda; "this is because you have not yet redeemed a retail game code on your Bethesda.net account".

Fallout 76 Tricentennial Edition This one comes with bonus downloadable items, and is the default option on Bethesda's site.

If you're on PC, then you don't have to do anything.

As an online-only game, Fallout 76 reviews won't go live until after the game has launched on November 14. You might still want to hold off on playing until it gets a couple of patches, but usually it takes a month or two for major releases to get discounted this far.
