Pippa Middleton gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, last month, and the tot's name has finally been revealed.

And while its no surprise Pippa hasn't taken the seemingly typical celebrity route and named her baby something quirky, the final title she and husband James Matthews settled on does have plenty of charm - and a special significance to his royal counterparts.

The second middle name is likely to have been inspired by Prince William.

Like her sister, Pippa gave birth in the exclusive Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital on October 15.

And if Middleton and Matthews did, in fact, choose "Michael" as a middle name, it's not surprising at all, because Matthews has been all about keeping his brother's memory alive.

The name William may have been a tribute to Middleton's older sister Kate Middleton's husband Prince William.

The Mail On Sunday has reportedly cited the birth certificate for baby Arthur and Pippa's occupation was listed as author on the document.

In 2012, she released her first and only book Celebrate: A Year of British Festivities for Family and Friends. However, the name of the newborn baby the couple kept secret until the baptism of the child.

Arthur will be first cousins with royals Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, along with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's future baby.
