The ICC had previously stated and emphasised again on Monday that the panel's judgment is final and binding.

PCB's claim is dismissed. "The judgement, which can be found here in full, is binding and non-appealable", the ICC added.

"We look forward to continue playing cricket with all the ICC member countries". Unfortunately, it has never happened in the history of the ICC that two cricket boards are fighting a case against each other.

Pakistan had claimed Rs 447 crore compensation following allegations that the BCCI didn't honour a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that required India to play six bilateral series between 2015 to 2023.

"The Panel accepts that the awareness of the BCCI's claimed need for government approval was indeed reflected not only in PCB emails but also in minutes of PCB board meetings, all of which were aggregated in the BCCIs helpful schedule to its written submissions".

"We are happy that our stand has been vindicated".

India's former external affairs minister Salman Khurshid was among those who were cross-examined during the dispute panel hearing.

Following BCCI's refusal to play bilateral cricket, PCB had filed a notice of dispute with the cricket's governing body last November claiming damages from the BCCI.

BCCI also claimed that they have no authority on the bilateral cricket played between the two countries and had to follow the diktat of the Indian government. Following a lengthy disputes resolution process, the announcement of the decision today has come as a disappointment for PCB.

PCB, in response to the ICC dispute panel's dismissal of its case against BCCI, termed the decision a "disappointment" and said it will determine the future course of action after detailed deliberations and consultations with its stakeholders. Following this, the PCB, led by then president Najam Sethi, took the matter to the ICC dispute panel.
