According to TMZ, amid her child support drama with ex Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna is coming out with a new (and controversial) skin lightening cream! "Ok, skin lightening didn't start with Blac Chyna", one person tweeted.

Whitenicious says its products are meant to be used for conditions such as hyperpigmentation, where people develop dark spots on their skin.

Blac Chyna has received heavy criticism for promoting a skin bleaching cream on social media. Each jar - studded with Swarovski crystals - will sell for $250 a pop. As Buzzfeed notes, long-term use of skin-bleaching creams have been linked to a variety of health risks including cancer, kidney damage, blindness, and depression.

"Lagos Nigeria, join me at the first official launch of my face cream this Sunday November 25th at the Whitenicious store from 1-5PM".

Amidst her Instagram posts, fans took to Twitter to share their dissatisfaction with Chyna promoting a skin bleaching cream in an African country - citing reasons associated with colourism.

Blac Chyna's latest beauty endorsement deal is sparking backlash.

"We're told Chyna felt this was a good deal for her because a lot of women of colour suffer from skin issues".

The firm behind the product was founded by Cameroonian singer Dencia and has been at the centre of controversy since in launched four years ago.
