That may seem like Robbie being cheeky, given the subtitle appearing to be handwritten on the script - but The Hollywood Reporter's Aaron Couch, editor of the trade's Heat Vision blog, reports that he confirmed the title with Warner Bros.

Next to the film's title, Margot added: 'Birds Of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn)'. It apparently takes inspiration from the Oscar-winning 2014 movie Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance).

Joining Robbie in the R-rated girl-gang DCEU entry is Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, and Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya.

The Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Adventures of Harley Quinn or whatever will arrive in theatres on February 7, 2020. Ewan McGregor is set to play the villainous Gotham crime lord Black Mask, who-according to the film's official synopsis-is gunning after the young one-time Robin named Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco).

Cathy Yan's live-action Birds of Prey movie actually has a much longer title than we originally thought. Little is known about the plot of Birds of Prey, but given the title, it will likely touch on Harley Quinn and her. emancipation from the Joker.

The film was written by Christina Hodson, who previously wrote the Naomi Watts movie Shut In and the upcoming Transformers spinoff Bumblebee.
