Interestingly enough, the Huawei Nova 4 will also make its way to China first, before making it to any other market, so it will be interesting to see which company will bring their smartphone with a display camera hole to consumers in the USA and Europe, as both will nearly certainly make it to at least one of the two regions. The punched-out hole will house the front camera.

Huawei might be the first to release a notch free smartphone since December 17 is less than two weeks away but another giant could soon follow. The promo image also states that the device will launch on december 10 at an event in China. The bottom bezel is also trimmed down and when compared to older iterations, the Galaxy A8s is a unique-looking phone.

Samsung has just confirmed the launch of their first "Infinity-O display" smartphone, the Galaxy A8, for December 10th in China. It will be launched in Beijing, China and the Chinese words on the poster suggests that future Samsung devices will also be integrated with the Infinity-O display, which many are expecting to be the Galaxy S10 series.

From the launch poster, as well as previous reports, it is believed that Samsung would maintain a flat screen with Infinity-O, that replaces the notched displays seen on many flagships. Huawei Nova 4's unique feature is that it has a display hole for the selfie camera. With a small hole at the corner, this approach offers a less obstructive full-screen experience compared to a notched display, especially while playing videos. It is also said to come with a 3,000mAh battery. The phone will have a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC along with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB).

The imaging aspects of the Galaxy A8s include a triple-rear camera setup which will consist of a 24MP, a 10MP, and a 5MP sensor.
