It came when the Trumps walked into the front pew at National Cathedral.

Wednesday was designated a national day of mourning, with many closings across America. Bush. Many government workers are also excused from work "to allow Federal employees to join their fellow citizens in remembering our 41st President of the United States". Both Trumps shook hands with the Obamas, but President Trump did not offer his hand to the Clintons.

The arrival in Houston came hours after Bush's legacy was honored at a state funeral in Washington D.C., during which he was eulogized by his son, former President George W. Bush, who labeled his father "a great and noble man". And Trump's former rival, former First Lady Hillary Clinton, didn't even appear to turn to her right to look at the Trumps.

The group then appeared to sit silently in the row for several minutes before the ceremony truly got underway.

Later, former President George W. Bush led his family's delegation into the church and stopped to shake all of the former presidents' and first ladies' hands before rejoining his family on the other side of the aisle.
