Michelle Obama and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex met in London during a stop on the former USA first lady's book tour for her new memoir Becoming, according to reports in the Evening Standard and Harper's Bazaar. The service was held in Chelsea in support of the Henry Van Straubenzee Memorial Fund, which was set up in memory of a school friend of both Princes William and Harry, who died in a tragic vehicle crash in 2002 aged just 18.

Back when Markle was planning her wedding to Prince Harry, an insider claimed that Kate was trying to help the former actress.

A snap of the couple during the evening can be seen here.

Although the royals weren't photographed at the event, we do know Markle read a poem-"Our Deepest Fear" by Marianne Williamson-during the service, while Harry gave a speech.

The Duchess' unannounced outing came the day after she and Harry attended a charity carol service that was held in support of the Henry Van Straubenzee Memorial Fund.

The "Fab Four" reportedly have their differences.

Apparently, the feud between Meghan and Kate started when Meghan criticised a Kensington Palace staff members that works with Kate.

Earlier that day, we saw the royal couple host a Christmas party for families from RAF Coningsby and RAF Marham who have a relative deployed overseas - including Cyprus.

Obama also congratulated Harry and Meghan on getting engaged a year ago - with the couple recently spending the anniversary of their engagement apart - and wrote in a tweet: "Michelle and I are delighted to congratulate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their engagement".

"Absolutely!" the royal responded in a video shared by Harry_Meghan_Updates on Instagram. She also wore the Royal Family Order - a personal gift from the queen - for a third time. "And a cousin for George and Charlotte, as well, and Louis".
