Mumbai: A recent article in New York Times' The Cut, has drawn widespread flak for its take on Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' relationship.

The article, literally titled 'Is Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' Love For Real?', fully questioned Chopra and Jonas' relationship going as far as to end the article by telling Jonas to "gallop away as fast as you can". "All Nick wanted was a possible fling with Hollywood's latest It Woman, but instead he wound up staring straight at a life sentence with a global scam artist".

As soon as the article was published, it faced a backlash wherein people called the "The Cut" sexist and asked them to pull it down immediately.

After that, The Cut tweeted an apology saying, "An earlier story about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas did not meet our standards. We've removed it and apologize".

Priyanka Chopra looked breathtakingly attractive in a red Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensemble and we must say, it's hard to stop staring at her. It's not even in my stratosphere. "These kind of random things can't disturb it".

Sophie, who was one of Priyanka's bridesmaids, also took to Twitter to defend Chopra. @TheCut should be ashamed to have someone write such evil words. "Very disappointed that The Cut would give anyone a platform to spew such bullshit". Sonam tweeted, "For a publication that "shows women's what they are made of" @TheCut has a lot to answer for. This was a mistake, and we apologise to our readers, and to Priyanka and Nick".

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in a lavish wedding ceremony at the glittering Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur. There is no good explanation for this other than human error and poor judgment.
