Carlos Tevez believes that moving the Copa Libertadores final second leg to Madrid is "embarrassing for the people".

This was the second high-risk fan to be stopped at Madrid airport ahead of Sunday's final, as the police take extensive precautionary measures to avoid any violent incidents involving radical opposing fans from the two Argentine clubs.

"We had 10 days to lodge our appeal with CAS but we did it the first day", the Boca official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The Buenos Aires derby between Boca and River Plate was postponed in November following an attack on the Boca team bus by River Plate fans.

"I think it is embarrassing for the people, not so much for the players", he continued.

Exequiel Palacios has been standout performer for River Plate this season, helping the club reach the Copa Libertadores final.

The game was postponed in part due to injuries suffered by the Boca players, with some suffering cuts from broken windows, and Tevez was himself pictured struggling to breathe after exposure to tear gas.

After the 2-2 draw in the first-leg at the La Bombonera almost a month ago, Argentinian football appeared poised for a new dawn, as a historical spectacle was set for the Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti in the capital, Buenos Aires.

The game will be played on Sunday evening, kicking off at 7.30.
