In terms of characters, karts and game modes, nothing much has changed from the original, so expect all the familiar game modes including Adventure, Cup Race, Time Trials and Battle Mode.

Crash Team Racing confirmed for Nintendo Switch

With online multiplayer and four-player split screen, Crash Team Racing looks to be an incredible recreation of one of the best Mario Kart competitors ever made. It will indeed be a retelling of the scenario presented in Crash's very first racing game, with Nitros Oxide returning as the big baddie. In the digital deluxe edition, the self-proclaimed fastest racer in the galaxy, Nitros Oxide will be a playable character from day one in all game modes.

In the U.S., the standard version of the game will be priced at $39.99 and the Nitros Oxide version will cost $59.99. Familiar characters like Crash, Coco, Dr. Neo Cortex, and the rest of the familiar "Crash" game join together to take on the villain Nitros Oxide in a mad dash to save the planet from certain destruction.
