When she's not saving the world, Kim's an everyday high schooler, she's late for class and going toe-to-toe with her frenemy, Bonnie (Erika Tham).

"Premiering Friday, Feb. 15 (8/7c), the move begins with Kim and Ron beginning high school, "where Kim must navigate an intimidating new social hierarchy".

Here's the sitch: Disney Channel on Friday released the first trailer for its upcoming live-action Kim Possible movie, in which the iconic animated crimefighter is brought to life and embodied by newcomer Sadie Stanley. But things start to look up when Kim and Ron meet Athena (Ciara Wilson), a Kim Possible superfan who just might be what Team Possible needs.

In addition, it's been confirmed that voice actors from the original animated series Christy Carlson Romano (the voice of the original Kim Possible) and Patton Oswalt (the voice of Professor Dementor) have joined the cast of the live-action film in undisclosed roles. Soon, Athena starts to eclipse Kim just as the nefarious Drakken and Shego resurface in Middleton with a master plan to finally stop Kim. And Kim Possible fans shouldn't worry, Rufus, the naked mole-rat, will be there to help Team Possible stop super villains Drakken (Todd Stashwick) and Shego (Taylor Ortega).

Kim Possible was written by Josh Cagan (The Duff) and Bob Schooley & Mark McCorkle (Big Hero 6: The Series, The Penguins of Madagascar). McCorkle and Schooley will also serve as Executive Producers along with Zanne Devine, whose producing credits include I, Tonya and Easy A.

Kim Possible got its start as an animated comedy/adventure series in 2002, centering on the title character who uses her brain, heart, and expertise to save the day. The movie is produced by Middleton Productions, a subsidiary of Omnifilm Entertainment, and carries a TV-G parental guideline.
