Thailand were drawn with Jill Ellis' US side, who beat Japan 5-2 in the final to win the World Cup in Canada three years ago, debutantes Chile and 2016 Olympic silver medallists Sweden in Group F.

The old worldwide rivals will play each other in Nice on June 9, 2019, with the sides having previously met at Euro 2017, where the Lionesses were 6-0 winners.

Phil Neville's side will open up against Scotland in Nice on Sunday 9 June 2019.

Corinne Diacre's side will play South Korea in Paris in the opening game on June 7, while the final of the 24-team competition will be held in Lyon on July 7 next year. I think the Scotland game will get the most interest - and rightly so - because of the rivalry, which I think is something we all should enjoy and embrace.

The Lionesses qualified unbeaten for what will be their fourth consecutive appearance at the tournament.

Scotland, who have made impressive progress under head coach Shirley Kerr, will be competing in their first World Cup, having finished two points ahead of Switzerland to win their qualifying group.

Alex Scott, who appeared for the Lionesses at three World Cups, conducted the draw alongside former France worldwide Louis Saha.

U.S. legend Carli Lloyd and Didier Deschamps, who led France to men's World Cup glory in the summer, were also in attendance.

The Local Organising Committee for the FIFA Women's World Cup is responsible for all ticketing and has established the regulations for selling tickets to supporters of participating nations.

Phil Neville's England will join World Cup holders and three-time winners the United States, hosts France plus Germany, Canada and Australia in Pot 1.
