Aaron Ramsey has signed a five-year deal worth $46 million with Juventus.

Ramsey will leave Arsenal at the end of the season on a free transfer after Arsenal withdrew a contract offer past year.

It is claimed Ramsey will earn a whopping €8 million (R128 million) per season at the Italian side, which would make him Juve's second-highest earner behind Ronaldo.

Earlier this season, the Gunners announced that the club would not be offering the Welshman a new deal so an exit has always looked likely.

Other reports suggest that Ramsey will head to Italy on Sunday to complete his medical ahead of the move.

With Ramsey's future still up in the air, Arsenal boss Unai Emery may opt to leave him on the bench for the visit to West Ham on Saturday.

Ramsey has scored 52 goals for Arsenal including the all-important FA Cup winners against Hull City and Chelsea respectively.

Ramsey has been linked with several clubs from across Europe and it has been recently reported that Juventus are closing in on a deal to sign him in the January transfer window.

"My idea and focus, I say to him every day, is that we need his performance for us", said Emery. "We can only loan players", said Emery.

"For me the most important (thing) is Aaron Ramsey is with us".

"But between him and us, I am very happy with him now".

"I don't know how his situation is but I know the club is working for the possibility of players who can help us with this condition (on loan)".
