While Jericho working outside of WWE isn't news, him joining a North American wrestling company seems like something that could irk Vince McMahon.

- Pro Wrestling Tees has released the first official AEW t-shirt for Chris Jericho.

Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Jericho revealed that a big reason why he signed with AEW was due to their potential television deal.

"A lot of that stuff is private but I did have a very amicable conversation with him". I do know this, as much as the people that you saw on the screen on Tuesday at the rally that are being signed, there's a whole backstage element that's being signed. Apart from a show at the 15,000 capacity Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena on a date still TBC, no other live dates or TV tapings have been announced so far. The bottom line is the Khan family isn't messing around.

Now his focus will be on AEW and considering his vast experience and unbridled talent as a professional wrestler, Jericho is expected to play a very crucial role in promoting the new league.

During an appearance on X-Pac's podcast, Khan stated, per WrestlingInc: "I have spent some time with Bill, I really like Bill, a lot, and he's one of the greatest drawing cards ever in the business". The Khan's own both the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Premier League's Fulham F.C., signaling that a pursuit into professional wrestling won't be breaking their bank. Beyond Cody, Page, and the Young Bucks, All Elite has signed "The Bad Boy" Joey Janela, Penelope Ford, Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky, Christopher Daniels, Dr. Britt Baker DMD, and Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Especially now that he's there.
