The Committee of Administrators chief Vinod Rai on Thursday recommended a two-ODI ban on India players Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul for their controversial comments on women in a TV show but fellow COA member. While Pandya apologised for his comments on Wednesday, the CoA still chose to issue the two cricketers a show-cause notice and gave them 24 hours to explain themselves.

Hardik Pandya had taken on Twitter on Wednesday for apologizing for his comments on the show. He tweeted, "After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologise to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way". He added, "Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show". In no way did I mean to disrespect or hurt anyone's sentiments. "Respect." Pandya had sparked a controversy when he revealed on the sets of the show that he had relationships with multiple women. He also said his family was "cool" with his sexual activities. The duo hardly talked about cricket and the entire episode was more about Hardik boasting about his way with women.

Pandya has been slammed by Tweeple for his derogatory remarks.

Pandya is now with the Indian team in Australia where it recently recorded a historic maiden Test series win.
