The smartphone has received a price cut of Rs. 400 and it will now be available for just Rs. 10,599. According to NokiaPowerUser, the price drop is effected only for the offline market and the phone will still sell for Rs. 10,999 via online stores. This is perhaps why HMD has finally chose to give the Nokia 3.1 Plus a price drop of around Rs 1,500 for a new price of Rs 9,999.

Nokia 3.1 Plus, which was launched as an offline-only smartphone has also received a price cut in India. This pricing was obviously questioned because Nokia 5.1 Plus that can be considered as as an upgrade over the Nokia 3.1 Plus in the Nokia product range is priced lower at Rs 10999.

"Nokia 3.1 Plus comes with a 6" HD+ with 18:9 ratio. The display has an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass for protection against nicks and scratches.

The Nokia 3.1, in comparison to Nokia 3.1 Plus, houses an octa-core Mediatek MT6750N clocked at 1.5 GHz coupled with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. The device comes with a microSD card slot so that users can use a microSD card with up to 400GB in capacity to expand the storage if they are running out of storage space. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system but is upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie. An 8-megapixel camera sensor along with an f/2.2 aperture and an 80.4-degree wide-angle lens is available at the front for selfies and video chat. The company also claims that the camera comes with AI support and has Bokeh mode enabled. The Nokia 3.1 Plus comes equipped with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and it also offers face unlock functionality.

For connectivity options, the Nokia 3.1 has a 3.5mm audio jack, Micro USB 2.0, LTE Cat4, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, and Beidou.
