That being the case, the two day collection of the Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam-starrer turns out to be around Rs 20 crore.

Based on real incidents, Uri: The Surgical Strike collected Rs 11 crore (approximately) at the Indian box office on Saturday, according to early estimates.

Apart from Vicky, the film also stars Paresh Rawal as National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Yami Gautam as a no-nonsense interrogation officer. If yes, then let us know about your reactions. While Kedarnath marked actor Sushant Singh Rajput's biggest hit of his career, Uri is all set to record Vicky's biggest hit. While the Anupam Kher starrer despite having a gripping storyline failed to gather rave reviews, the war-drama starring Vicky Kaushal proved to be an absolute victor at the Box Office. Good word of mouth will work in the film's favour. The film opened on a great and was given thumbs-up by the critics and audience. One must also note that URI managed to gain footfalls on day one despite competition from a rather controversial film The Accidental Prime Minister starring Anupam Kher.

Helmed by Aditya Dhar, Uri: Teh Surgical Strike is bankrolled by Ronnie Screwala under the banners of RSVP Movies.

After a blockbuster opening of 8.25 crore on its first day, Uri: The Surgical Strike is heading towards a blockbuster weekend as well. Stay tuned with us for all the latest updates of Bollywood and box office reports.
