Apple’s cheapest new iPhone gets an unofficial price cut

In terms of price, the price of the three new 2019 iPhones will be the same as previous year, that is, the starting price of the iPhone XR successor model may be $749, while the starting price of the two OLED models will be $999 and $1099. If you've also been eyeing the iPhone XR for its new form factor, specs and configuration, this might be the time to get one as an unofficial price cut on the popular iPhone has been announced. A Mumbai-based online retailer Mahesh telecom is reportedly selling all three variants of the device at discounted price. Prices of the smartphone are unchanged on Apple's official website and major e-commerce platforms including Amazon and Flipkart. Interestingly, iPhone XR (Product Red) with 64GB storage retailing at Rs 72,999 is the lowest price that the handset can be purchased at from Amazon right now. Apple will introduce a new green option for the successor model of the iPhone XR and it will cancel one of the current colour options. iPhone XR is now available in black, white, yellow, coral, red, and blue.

The iPhone XR is offered in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants.

Apple iPhone XR features a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD display with 1792 x 828 pixels with 328ppi pixel density.

The iPhone XR runs on the latest iOS 12 operating system. In addition, the successor model of the iPhone XS Max will use a triple rear camera design while the successor model of the iPhone XR will be upgraded to a dual rear camera. There's a single 7-megapixel selfie shooter on the front which is enabled with Portrait Mode and a variable DOF for bokeh effect.
