Barcelona have a deal with Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic, it has been revealed.

And with Real Madrid, Chelsea and Bayern Munich all credited with reported interest, it's been claimed Jovic's agent has given the Blaugrana the lead by agreeing personal terms over a sensational off-season switch.

As a effect, the LaLiga leaders have seemingly won the race for one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe, with Real Madrid also said to be interested in Jovic's services.

Barcelona were also interested in the forward, but the Madrid club have beaten them to the punch by tabling an official bid with the Bundesliga side.

The Catalan giants followed a similar routine with their recent signing of Frenkie De Jong, who first agreed personal terms with the Spanish side before both clubs sorted out his transfer.

Jovic is the Bundesliga's top scorer so far this season, with 14 goals, and has also chipped in with three assists in 19 top-flight appearances.
