Later, Howard will team up with MODOK, Dazzler, Tigra, and Hit-Monkey to "save the world and certain parts of the universe".

No launch dates were announced but the shows will all be under the purview of executive vice president of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. Patton Oswalt is writing and producing M.O.D.O.K. alongside Jordan Blum and Marvel Television chief Jeph Loeb, while Chelsea Handler is an executive producer and writer on Tigra & Dazzler alongside Loeb and Erica Rivinoja. As for Howard the Duck, this show sees director, writer, and comic book icon Kevin Smith attempt to what the 1986 movie could not-namely, produce a decent screen version Howard the Duck. His goal is to return home with the help of his "unstoppable gal pal" Beverly, but they will have to take on the likes of the evil Dr. Bong, who wants to turn Howard into a meal.

With Marvel TV overlord Jeph Loeb also involved in each show, the aim is to have the characters team-up in a special called The Offenders. Blum's previous credits include Community and American Dad.

Of the celebrity names on that list, Smith and Oswalt stand out as contributors with significant comics experience-though Smith has always been associated with DC heroes like Batman and Green Arrow. He now appears on the NBC series A.P. Bio, the Syfy series Happy! Oswalt is repped by UTA and Generate.

In "Marvel's M.O.D.O.K.", M.O.D.O.K, an egomaniacal Super Villain with a really big head and a really little body, struggles to maintain control of his evil organization and his demanding family. "Marvel's Hit Monkey" comes from writers Josh Gordon and Will Speck, with Gordon, Speck and Jeph Loeb serving as Executive Producers. They are repped by CAA and Management 360.

Marvel's Hit-Monkey tells the tale of a wronged Japanese snow monkey, mentored by the ghost of an American assassin, as he cuts a wide swath through the Tokyo underworld in this darkly cinematic and brutally amusing revenge saga. Jeph Loeb will executive produce. Handler is repped by UTA and Azoff MSG Entertainment.

With most of The Defenders live-action Marvel Television series getting canceled at Netflix, the industry has speculated Disney's impending streaming service, Disney+, would be the eventual repository for the majority of new Marvel TV offerings. The Punisher and Jessica Jones are still hanging on for now, but might not be long for this world either. Variety reports the shows will be for adults.

As with the Avengers and Defenders, The Offenders will be four separate series that lead into one big team up event.
