Moto Z3 Play Now Getting Upgrade to Android Pie

The Moto G7 which was priced at Dollars 299, could end up costing well north of Rs 20,000, and the G7 Plus which commands a price tag of USD 349 could go beyond Rs 25,000, all of which is more of Moto X and Moto X Play land.

So even if feel like I've written these exact words in previous years, it seems like Moto will once again maintain control over the budget phone market with the new G7 family. "The 7 line continues the trend of offering a strong value proposition by combining reasonable hardware with superb software, and the G7 Power should find a niche with consumers who want endless battery life".

Then we have the Moto G7 Power which has been constructed with what Motorola calls "polymer glass". It also has a 3,000 mAh battery. Look for all three G7 phones to go on sale sometime in March.

To recall, the Moto G4 Plus packs a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display along with 16:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The family includes Moto G7, Moto G7 Play, Moto G7 Plus, and Moto G7 Power and all these handsets are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 632 processor - except G7 plus which has Snapdragon 636 processor. It comes with a 16MP+5MP dual camera set-up with optical image stabilisation (OIS) at the back and a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies. For better portrait mode experience, the G7 has a 5-megapixel depth sensor, unlike other G7 phones with software-based portrait mode.

Following closely after the G7 is the $249 G7 Power. It doesn't offer the same premium qualities as the G7, of course, that why the Moto G7 price is higher.

Each member of the G7 family comes with a suite of features for correcting and enhancing your photos, so you won't miss out if you have one of the lower-resolution phones.

The standard G7 also gets a 3000mAh cell that supports up to 15W TurboPower charging. Its RAM is 3GB and the internal storage 32GB. In 2019, Moto is trimming down its G7 portfolio down to just three phones while also giving each model a slightly different twist to suit your needs.

A plastic construction can be found on the Moto G7 Play, with its screen measuring in at 5.7-inches and bearing a 1512x720p resolution. The G7 Play has a RAM of just 2GB and its plastic case is very cheap. This is Google's latest operating system and Moto Z3 Play users from the USA have already started receiving it OTA (over the air).

Fear not, all three phones have headphone jacks, but some are on the top while others are on the bottom.

The Moto G7 is an Amazon-exclusive device (in the United Kingdom at least), so don't expect to pick it up from your local phone shop or other online vendors - it's priced at $299 (£239, around AU$437). It will, however, be available later on Google Fi, Republic Wireless, and Ting. The G7 Play will be sold unlocked through Virgin Mobile, Republic Wireless, US Cellular, Boost Mobile, and Ting.
