Those cheers turned to howls of rage in stoppage time as Boly heading in the equaliser after beating Newcastle keeper Martin Dubravka to the ball.

But when asked if there are any problems between the two players, Benitez said after the game: 'No, it's obvious the disappointment is for everyone. "We knew it could be a hard game but little by little we had control".

"You could see we had control and then we scored the goal, after that you could see a change but we still had some control".

"They were pushing and we could do better".

"It was not clear in the replay but we have to defend the cross better, you know you'll be under pressure and you have to be strong enough".

The late draw leaves Newcastle a single point above the relegation zone with 12 games left to play.

The Wolves centre-back did put his arms on Dubravka's shoulders but the Newcastle goalkeeper was able to jump for the ball and his decision to try to catch the ball instead of punching it clear ultimately backfired.

"It's just another bit of bad luck on our part".

"We all have to take responsibility".
