TBS and TNT President Kevin Reilly who is involved in the oversee of the new Warner Media streaming service said today that in regards to Friends down the road, the series is bound to play exclusively on the media corp's new platform.

In the current streaming TV landscape, Netflix is the home of the Arrowverse, and all The CW shows, upon completing their full season airings on their home network. Both beloved shows were included in promotional materials Monday.

"I think you can expect the crown jewels of Warner will ultimately end up on our new service".

The unnamed service will also offer access to HBO programming and the Warner Bros. library of theatrical films. There's only one of those that comes to mind, naturally, and it's DC Universe.

Warner Bros.is the parent company of DC Entertainment, whose DC Universe app launched late a year ago and is already introducing its third new series - Doom Patrol - this week. Also, he makes it clear that content won't appear there permanently: "Content goes through a life cycle where it benefits being on or off platforms". DC Universe definitely operates that way as well, with some content coming and going all the time. "It's certainly something we're willing to do", said Reilly. "Create an equation where there's no break in the consumer experience". A beta version of the service itself is expected to be available before the end of 2019.

Better binge as much of the Central Perk gang on Netflix while you can: Friends is likely heading to WarnerMedia's upcoming streaming service soon, the streamer's boss says. The licensing agreement with Netflix for these CW shows will run out in the spring and it is likely that Warner Bros. will choose not to renew it in order to keep it for their own streaming service. Pulling it away (from Netflix)?
