Google will continue to expand its presence in Chicago and Washington, and the company's workforce would double in Virginia and Georgia, according to the blog post.

The company is also doubling its workforce in Virginia, providing greater access to Washington, D.C., with a new office and more data center space, and expanding its NY campus at Hudson Square. Google said it will also open its first data center in Nevada, expand in Washington, Oklahoma and SC, as well as build a new office and data center in Texas and new office space in MA, the latter of which houses one of the largest Google hubs outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. "2019 marks the second year in a row we'll be growing faster outside of the Bay Area than in it".

The blog post said more than 10,000 jobs will be created throughout the county from the new centers and offices.

The tech giant announced on Wednesday that it plans to spend more than $13 billion in data centers and offices across the USA, including major expansions in 14 states.

'"Nebraska has built a reputation for itself as the Silicon Prairie and a hub for tech companies, startups, and entrepreneurs", said Governor Ricketts.
