The Nets led 52-42 at halftime behind 11 points from Dinwiddie. As a team, the Thunder shot 45 percent from the field and seven of 22 from the 3-point line, but they really set up the win with their defense, particularly in the first half where they held the Jazz to just 37 points. "It was my fault in the first half and I thought we did a good job of picking up in the second half". Oklahoma City scored 20 points in the first 3min 41sec of the third quarter to take the lead, and the Thunder took an 80-78 edge into the fourth.

A 3-pointer from Westbrook put the Thunder up 100-87 with 4:51 remaining, capping off a sizzling offensive stretch in the fourth. He recorded seven points, five rebounds and five assists in the fourth quarter.

Nets: Opened the game with a 9-0 run. He took off his big sneakers and tossed them to fans, including one little guy in full Thunder gear.
