Slack becomes the latest app to add dark mode to its Android and iOS app. Slack, for instance, has already announced dark mode though it is still being beta tested.

When it comes to this workplace collaboration app, dark mode has been a feature users have been requesting for a long time. You may be able to enable Dark Mode already.

The Dark Mode feature is only available in the Beta version of Nova Launcher now. However, it's highly recommended to stick with the stable version as the beta software contains more bugs and crashes than a stable one.

However, the point to note here is that Messenger too had gone for a white wash before the app was provided with a dark mode. However, it is only applicable to the app launcher and notification shade.

Make sure to enable Unknown Sources in your device (Android 7.0 or before) or the Install Unknown Apps (Android 8.0 or above).

Interestingly, Facebook has gone for something completely different for its primary social networking app.

Open the Nova Launcher Beta app. Tap on it to expand the menu.

Now, choose any one option - Light, Dark, or Follow night mode. A user can join by heading over to the app's settings, and select the "Join Beta" section, which prompts them to provide your name and e-mail address. However, the iOS version lets you switch automatically.

Firefox uses themes like Chrome: Choose Add-ons then Themes from the program menu on the desktop, and you can click Enable next to the one you want to use. It also helps conserve the battery. That apart, dark mode is also pleasing on the eyes as well and is known to cause less strain.
