In her speech, Cardi stated, "I'm sorry, iHeartRadio, that I couldn't make it ..." She was also nominated for Female Artist of the Year, Best Lyrics for "Without Me", and Best Cover Song for "Lucid Dream".

The 26-year-old accepted her award via a pre-recorded video.

The socially-conscious songstress addressed the name of the award, as she said the world Fangirl is often used in a "very derogatory" sense when it should't be.

"I think one of the most wonderful things about the way that this whole tour turned out, is that for the entire six months leading up to the first show, every headline that I read about the tour was, 'This is going to be a massive failure, this is going to be a flop tour, '" recalled the "Delicate" singer, who sparkled in a colorful romper and pink tresses.

Halsey noted that fandoms, both her own and those she has been a part of, have been sources of motivation, passion and determination for people in a positive way. The artist then goes on to thank her fans, supporters, and even her haters. "I love seeing all the things you're posting online, and I just want to let you know that when there's new music, you will be the first to know".

At the show, Halsey performed with Yungblud (whose real name is Dominic Harrison), as well as Travis Barker, for the track 11 Minutes.
