Thursday's National Basketball Association roundup: Pacers recover to defeat Thunder

Stephen Jackson joined Artest in fighting the fans, resulting in the latter being suspended for the rest of the season and the former getting 30 games. I am truly onboard with this idea because basketball is the only sport where the fan is feet away from the player.

Westbrook's triple double performance - reaching double digits in three key statistical categories - came two days after he received a $25,000 fine after an expletive-laden outburst where he threatened to beat up a heckling Utah Jazz fan and his wife. In a now viral video, Westbrook can be heard shouting, "I will f- you up!" When that happens, I want you to jump up and shout 'stop.' We have a code of conduct in this arena. Because of this, we all have a shared responsibility to represent the Utah Jazz and the community in the right way. Players and coaches on both teams can hear you, and we expect all fans to respect them-as well as the game officials, arena employees, and other fans at the arena. I don't think it's fair to the players - not just to me, but I don't think it's fair to the players. We all try to protect the league and I think that when it comes, like, when it's an individual battle with a person in the crowd and they say something violently disrespectful like that then it's going to warrant a reaction. I don't really mind the fan interaction but not when I'm at work and you're trying to get me to go because I would come to - let me come to your office and yell in your ear like that. We also do not allow disruptive behavior, including bullying, foul or abusive language, or obscene gestures.

My good friend and colleague at NBC Sports Chicago, Will Perdue, had a chance to watch Morant up close and personal while serving as an expert analyst for the national radio broadcast of the OVC tourney championship game. This has always been a hallmark of our incredible fan base and should forever be our standard moving forward.

"The Utah Jazz will not tolerate fans who act inappropriately". "I'd rather not get into [where]".

After the game was over, Westbrook told reporters he thought the fan's comments were "completely disrespectful" and "racial". He made it clear that there was no swear word uttered by him or his wife, who was also threatened by Westbrook. "I was the one talking to him, but don't threaten a woman".

After going 4 for 7 from behind the 3-point line in the first half, George didn't attempt another until less than six minutes remained in the game.
