"Lilly is truly a star and we're thrilled to welcome her to our NBC family", said NBC executive Doug Vaughan.

The Indian-Canadian YouTuber, actress, and author known as IISuperwomanII will take over the late night NBC slot held by Carson Daly, whose show Last Call is wrapping up after 17 years.

Singh's YouTube channel has more than 14 million subscribers, where she writes, produces and stars in comedic and inspirational videos.

The show will launch in September.

The YouTube darling made the announcement on her future competitor's show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, on March 14!

Singh, who is Canadian-Indian, first came to prominence online as a satirical comedian and commentator. "I'm thrilled to bring it to life on NBC, and I hope m parents consider this to be as exciting as a grandchild".

The show will reportedly feature interviews and comedy sketches, like many other late-night television staples, but will also include "signature elements", Variety said. I'm so grateful and overwhelmed to be joining this incredible family.

Singh also shared the news on Instagram writing, "I can't even believe I am writing this caption. No matter how many "boxes" you check, I encourage you to do the same". She has appeared on Forbes' 30 Under 30 Hollywood & Entertainment list, Fast Company's Most Creative People list and Time called her one of the most influential people on the Internet.

Daly said last month that he's made a decision to end his "Last Call" show to focus on new and continuing projects, including as host and producer of NBC's "The Voice".

Singh will serve as executive producer on "A Little Late", while Polly Auritt, who heads Singh's Unicorn Island Productions, will serve as co-executive producer.

In February, Singh came out as bisexual in an emotional message on Twitter. But now I'm fully embracing them as my superpowers ...
