He'll help the Bears overcome the loss of Adrian Amos, who signed with the Packers in free agency this year. Chicago quickly filled the hole left by the departed Callahan with veteran Buster Skrine, most recently of the Jets. And, luckily for them, the free agent market was still ripe with options at safety even after stars like Landon Collins and Tyrann Mathieu signed mega-deals.

The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears have pulled off a safety swap of sorts this offseason. During the 2015, 2016 and 2017 seasons, Clinton-Dix hardly came off the field for the Packers' defense.

Days after a former Bears safety became a Packer, a former Packers safety became a Bear. He'll join forces with All-Pro safety Eddie Jackson to form the new safety tandem for Chuck Pagano's defense with the Bears.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix's time with the Redskins appears to be over.

A first-round pick in 2014, Clinton Dix played four seasons and change in Green Bay before the move. His extensive experience within the division could prove invaluable when it comes to knowing opposing quarterbacks and coaches' tendencies.

On Oct. 30, Green Bay sent Clinton-Dix to the Washington Redskins seven games into the 2018 season for a fourth-round draft choice.
