LaBarrie also is accused of providing false and misleading information to NCAA investigators and Georgia Tech officials regarding his knowledge of the alleged incident.

In a statement that accompanied the notice of allegations, most names were redacted. Bell is the former friend of Pastner's who was involved in a lengthy and sordid legal affair with the 41-year-old head coach. Georgia Tech determined the players received apparel, meals and transportation. A notice of allegations is a step in the NCAA's process of investigating potential rules violations, but the process is ongoing.

Further, the NCAA alleged that LaBarrie provided false or misleading information to the NCAA and institute regarding his knowledge and involvement of the violations alleged, attempted to influence the team member to provide false or misleading information and further tried to hide his attempt to influence the team member.

Georgia Tech will have until May 16 to respond to the NCAA, the school told the paper.

The NCAA alleges a recruit received about $664 in inducements and benefits, including the money at the strip club.

The NCAA further alleged that LaBarrie provided false information to the association, tried to influence the team member to provide false information and tried to hide his attempt to influence the team member.

Basically, he's being charged with offering impermissible recruiting benefits and providing false or misleading statements to the NCAA about his involvement in the other allegations.

Pastner and his attorneys have denied the allegations, and a Title IX investigation conducted by attorneys hired by Georgia Tech cleared Pastner in the matter in June 2018.

The former coach is Darryl LaBarrie, who was removed from the program at the start of the 2017-18 season.

The allegations against Bell led to an exchange of lawsuits between Pastner and Bell and his girlfriend, Jennifer Pendley.

The NCAA's notice does not place any blame on Pastner nor name him in the report.

"My comment is these allegations are not all factual and the truth will come to light when I meet with the committee", LaBarrie wrote in a text to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Pastner led Georgia Tech to 21 wins in his 2016-17 debut, including a spot in the NIT finals, before back-to-back losing records the last two seasons.

Georgia Tech's 2018-19 campaign ended this week with a first-round ACC Tournament loss to Notre Dame.

Georgia Tech suspended women's coach MaChelle Joseph on February 27 for what the school says is a "pending personnel matter". The hypocrisy is stunning.

Joseph's attorneys have charged that Joseph was suspended as a result of her raising concerns about gender equity issues inside the institute's athletic department.
