"Still believe we have a chance to make the playoffs", Hield said. That's an obliterating loss to a Western Conference team that's barely compiled enough wins on their season to just sneak into the playoffs at now 39-30.

The Kings got no closer than five after that. That loss bumps the Kings to 4.5 games behind the No. 8 seed (LAC).

The Celtics edged out Sacramento 111-109 on March 6 during their first meeting of the season.

The Celtics then rallied again, this time going ahead on a Brown 3-pointer with 55.4 seconds remaining in the third quarter.

Kings AnalysisThe Sacramento Kings have been in games lately, but securing wins and executing down the stretch has been their weak point. The game is live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.

The Kings haven't had much luck winning in Boston, dropping 10 straight dating back to January of 2007. Harrison Barnes added 20, and De'Aaron Fox had 19 points, nine assists and seven rounds as the Kings lost for the 11th straight time in Boston. Marvin Bagley III has been out, so Nemanja Bjelica and Harry Giles have taken on bigger roles and minutes, and they had 15 and 12 points apiece on Monday, but Bagley has been cleared to play tonight.

The Celtics returned home on the mend following a 3-1 West Coast trip. Though Celtics center Al Horford will certainly hold his own against either big man, having Theis as an option over Aron Baynes, who isn't quite the athlete of either Bagley or Cauley-Stein, could benefit Boston.

A win against the Clippers would have narrowed the gap between the Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers, but they'll hope to do that tonight.

Cauley-Stein recorded a 10-point, 13-rebound double-double for the Kings, who lost their second straight and fell below.500 (33-34) for the first time since January 8.

Jaylen Brown finished the night with 22 points, 13 coming in the second half of play while Marcus Morris racked up 14 of his 21 points in quarters three and four. Irving added 18 points and 11 assists. With the loss, Sacramento fell to 33-33 overall and 13-19 on the road.

The over/under is 228 points and the Celtics are -320 at the moneyline after opening at -360.
