Microsoft has just released yet another build for Fast ring insiders as the company is getting closer to the moment it should sign off the RTM.

If you are a Windows Insider in the Fast ring, you can update to Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18358 by going into Settings - Update & Security - Windows Update and then checking for new updates.

FOR GAMERS: We have addressed an issue with Game Mode that may degrade game streaming and recording quality.

Also, Microsoft fixed an issue causing some insiders to encounter a fatal crash - also known as Green Screen of Death in the Windows Insider program. The company is also still looking to get feedback about its State of Decay game available via the Xbox Insider Hub, and if you haven't tested it yet the company has just added more slots. This extension is created to redirect untrusted sites to isolated Microsoft Edge sessions, where any actions in the browser do not affect the computer.

To use Windows Defender Application Guard, and thus these extensions, your PC must meet certain requirements, and you must be using Windows 10 Pro 1803 or better. There's also a Microsoft Store companion app that you need, but Microsoft's own link embarrassingly now points to a fake third-party site. As usual, you can find the release notes for build 18358 and 18356 at the Windows Blog.

Launching games that use anti-cheat software may trigger a bugcheck (GSOD).

Some Realtek SD card readers are not functioning properly. Hyper-V is a viable alternative if available to you.

We're investigating an issue preventing VMware from being able to install or update Windows Insider Preview builds. This is because optional content will only install on builds approved for specific rings.
