Jurgen Klopp was all too happy to heap praise upon his Liverpool side after they returned to the top of the Premier League table with a 2-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday. We go there and we will try everything to win there.

"In those 10 minutes they could have changed the game completely - a post and two saves from Ali (Alisson Becker) - but then we controlled the game again".

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils are interested in a potential deal to sign the Denmark global at the end of the Premier League season. 97 (possible). Let's try. "If that's enough, perfect, and if not, we can not change it". We didn't lose it here or there. "Only weak people and idiots bring something like this up".

"We played a good match against wonderful opponents", he told Sky Sports.

"We know that they get at least two players back, Pepe and (Hector) Herrera, so they will be an interesting and hard challenge".

"Then we play Cardiff and everybody knows they fight for [staying in] the league, everybody knows it is a tough place to go".

The victory over Chelsea was encapsulated in a couple of two-minute episodes in the second half.

Three days after video surfaced of a group of Chelsea supporters aiming a derogatory chant toward him on social media, Salah hurt his former club by smashing a left-footed shot into the top corner from 25 yards to double Liverpool's lead. We hit the post for the 35th time in our season.

The match was pretty evenly balanced for the first 45 minutes of the game but it all swung in Liverpool's favour after those two quick-fire goals and unfortunately the Blues could not recover. "Two or three months ago we would not have done".

"I saw in training the ability that he had but he seems to have become more ruthless".
