After a couple of multi-player Battlefront outings, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (out November 15 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC) shifts to a story-driven, single-player focus and introduces a new lightsaber-swinging hero into galactic lore during pretty much the worst period to be using the Force in public. The Galaxy AwaitsAncient forests, windswept rock faces, and haunted jungles are all unique biomes you'll explore in Jedi: Fallen Order, with the freedom to decide when and where you go next. While last week fans were high on the anticipation of Star Wars 9-which we now know is titled Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker-the excitement was undercut a tad when Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that after Skywalker, the films will be taking a bit of a hiatus. "We're looking at whether we can move massively in one direction of the other".

While the cosplay at Celebration had a specific theme, it was about how creative you could get with the subject to make it more special. Project Ragtag's director Amy Hennig told Eurogamer more about the canceled game in an interview that followed shortly after EA started hyping up Respawn's upcoming project. Admitting her view on why EA changed its stance on single-player only games is speculation, she said "I don't know why the change of heart happened, because that was very clearly not an acceptable plan when we were working on Ragtag!". And then you look at Rogue One, the animated show Rebels, those are ensemble stories. As she put it, "There's been a pretty public and vocal backlash against the idea gamers don't want single-player finite games without all these extra modes".

Of course, we can't forget the cornerstone of any convention: the cosplay. So I'm as excited to see it as everyone else.

Hennig concluded her part on Jedi: Fallen Order by saying, "I don't have any insider knowledge, but there's a lot of reasons they could have adopted a new attitude for this".

The rest of the post reveals some new details on the game Hennig's team was developing. However, when it does return, it sounds like it'll come back stronger than ever.

Star Wars had previously announced that Rian Johnson would be working on his own trilogy in the Star Wars universe while Benioff and Weiss would be working on their own Star Wars films.
