Community Easter Egg Hunt Set for April 20th April 13, 2019

The hunt goes until this Saturday, April 20.

Within a short period of time, the children gathered all the 1,000 eggs and posed for photos with the Easter Bunny before going home.

This year Mars company donated the candy inside each egg, and Michaels Craft Store supplied the Easter eggs.

Children will hunt for 80,000 plastic eggs that forty senior centers and several high schools throughout the area filled with goodies. "It's a lovely day, it's a chance to come out to the Governor's mansion and take a look at the handsome house and let the kids have a little fun for the holidays".

These two young ladies check out what they found at the Easter egg hunt on Saturday in Point Pleasant.

Sabourin added each age group also received one purple egg to open with a card inside saying, "winner". Egg apparatus must not contain any metal, glass or other material that may shatter upon impact. There will also be five age-appropriate bunny trails.

The Gypsum Fire Department will host a pancake breakfast at 9 a.m. and the toddler/preschool egg hunts will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Saturday, April 20 will be egg hunts at Rutland Fireman's Park at 11 a.m.; at Belleville Locks and Dam at 11 a.m., sponsored by the Olive Twp.

The event will be Saturday April 20th at 10 Rec Park and is free for kids ages 3 to 10. All pictures will be posted on the town's Facebook page for people to share or save.

Pearl specialist Koji Kawamoto will be traveling here from Japan with his hand-selected pearls for an Easter weekend show at Karats in Vail.

"It's a lot of fun".

Trey Arbogast was dressed in his Easter best for the Point Pleasant Easter egg hunt. Bring your own Easter baskets, and all children are welcome. The Annual Spring Easter Festival kicks off at 11 Lehighton at the Rec. Center.
