Porto boss Sergio Conceicao

Victory will see Liverpool make the last four for the second consecutive season, but Klopp expects Porto to be a "different animal" at the Estadio do Dragao. "If you feel not well and had a bad night, we all know an intense game the day after doesn't exactly sound like the thing you should do".

Defender Dejan Lovren and midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were both left out of Liverpool's squad to face Porto after missing training on Tuesday.

Klopp reacted with something like confusion when Conceicao's assessment was put to him. "Until we were 2-0 up it was a really open game".

Centre back Joe Gomez, who has been sidelined since December after having surgery for a leg fracture, could make his return, Klopp added.

"We have Joe [Gomez] so we should be fine for that position". Liverpool have started Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita and Fabinho in the last two games, and the balance has looked good.

"Pretty much all the rest are travelling", added the German.

Porto captain Hector Herrera, who missed the first leg through suspension along with Pepe, is confident his side can turn the tie on its head tonight.

"Militao can play right full-back, which changes a lot for them".

Liverpool are continuing to block out all external talk of the team doing a potential Premier League and Champions League double this season, according to James Milner. He's been asked to do a job for the team and we know he'll do anything he's asked - whether he's asked to play in goal, he'll do that.

Porto coach Sergio Conceicao hailed Liverpool as the best team on the planet at times this season even as he tries to plot their downfall in the Champions League.

They are the only remaining side in the Champions League to have won 100% of their home games in the competition this season (4/4).

In fact, Liverpool FC are unbeaten in three visits to FC Porto in the Champions League following stalemates in 2001 and 2003. That, however, has not stopped Jurgen Klopp reinforcing the message that nothing has been decided.

All that experience we've gained as a group has made us a better side and I think you can see that [in] how we've played this year. This year, it's when we haven't played as well as we would have liked and we've had to grind it out and we've had to keep going until the 90th minute to get a victor.

"After winning the first leg against FC Porto 2-0, Liverpool are now the most likely semi-finalists, ahead of FC Barcelona and Juventus". They gained control of that game eventually, but they won't want to be giving Porto the chance to start on the front foot.
