The former Manchester United star scored his 600th club goals against Inter Milan as his goal saved Juventus from a defeat at the San Siro which ended 1-1.

Inter Milan take on Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus on Saturday in the Derby d'Italia amid rumors that bad boy striker Mauro Icardi could be joining the Old Lady in a huge swap deal at the end of the season.

His strike also makes him only the fourth player in the club's history to score in both games played for the Turin club at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in a single Serie A season, after Gonzalo Higuain, Marco Di Vaio and David Trezeguet.

"In the first half we suffered on dead ball situations, we could've gone 2-0 behind, but then we had a great second half", Allegri said.

Radja Nainggolan had given the hosts the lead with a spectacular 25-yard volley after Matteo Politano's flick.

Ronaldo drew Juventus level after 62 minutes, exchanging passes with Miralem Pjanic before drilling a left-footed finish into the bottom corner.

Ronaldo reached the milestone before Messi, who scored his 598th goal for the Catalans on Saturday. The home fans taunted the visitors with a pre-match mosaic of placards featuring the Champions League trophy alongside the words "Game Over", referencing Juve's quarter-final exit to Ajax Amsterdam in April.
