Ariana Grande is under fire for her Instagram photos.

The photos in question, which feature her in a grey sweatshirt dress and cream boots and carrying a see-through bag emblazoned with the name of her album Sweetener, earned her nearly 3.4 million likes on the social media website. She has since deleted the post from her Instagram, but a similar post from three days later remains on her account.

The publication has obtained court documents relating to the case.

According to Robert's lawsuit, Ariana posted unlicensed pictures of herself on Instagram that he had taken.

As compensation, Barbera is suing for US$25,000 worth of damages for each image used, or any profits Grande earned from the post - she plugged the tour merchandise she was wearing to her 154 million followers in a follow-up post.

Ariana Grande's now-deleted Instagram post, submitted as evidence.
