Let's check out the specifications of the smartphones.

The Realme X features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Samsung's AMOLED full screen display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The notchless design and minimal bezels gives it an impressive 91.2 percent screen to body ratio.

Realme's phones, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, a 48-mega-pixel camera and pop-up selfie camera, cost from 1,199 to 1,799 yuan, putting them in competition with Xiaomi's Redmi and Huawei's Honor models. This is definitely going to disappoint price-conscious smartphone users in India who are fond of expanding internal memory of the device to store gigabytes of media files and apps on their handsets.

For its camera, it comes with a dual rear camera setup with 48MP + 5MP sensors whereas the selfie camera comes with a 16MP sensor. The company's Indian CEO Madhav Sheth has already confirmed this many times before. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor.

As for the price, the 4/64GB variant is set at CNY 1499 (approx Rs 15,000). The only difference you will find is the unique Onion and White Garlic gradient color and the signature at its back from Design Master, Naoto Naoto.

Keeping all of that running, we get a 3,765 mAh battery which is slightly smaller than the Realme X Lite's 4,045 mAh pack. The Realme X comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. All three models come with a microSD card that supports storage expansion up to 256GB.

The phone runs on Color OS 6 on top of Android Pie which offers some good additional features like Hyper Boost 2.0 and improved Game Space for faster performance.

Coming to the camera department; at the rear, the device has a 16MP main camera with LED flash, Sony IMX519, f/1.7 aperture, and EIS.

The new phones also offer "960fps/720P and 120fps/1080P" slow motion video shooting. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back panel.

It is powered with 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.

As far as pricing is concerned, Realme X was launched in China at a starting price of CNY 1,199 (approx Rs 12,300) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The device comes in Nitro Blue and Lightning Purple colors and will be available soon.
